Performs all functions necessary to operate the Motor Vehicle Department.
This includes registration, renewals, title changes and collection, balancing and depositing of fees and sales tax.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Performs various technical clerical duties and computer input related to recording and processing information regarding titles, registrations, vehicle ID numbers, permits and updates to the same Types correspondence and reports; answers questions over the counter and on the telephone Researches records; assists title companies, banks etc.
