44 an hour 8 days ago 8 days ago 8 days ago The Opportunity Under general guidance and direction from the County Attorney, performs complex legal secretarial duties in preparing and processing civil, misdemeanor, juvenile court, and felony legal documents as needed to expedite the responsibilities, requirements, projects, and cases of the county attorney's office.

Answers telephone and greets visitors; answers questions regarding cases and court hearings; and refers individuals to appropriate agencies/offices.
Retrieves and processes incoming police reports; and requests documents and media from various law enforcement agencies.
Composes legal documents dealing with criminal and civil matters in the Justice, Juvenile, and District Courts; contacts witnesses and victims; assists prosecutors with preparing for court.
As required, create legal documents concerning Tooele County matters, such as ordinances and resolutions, policies and procedures, public notices, agreements, deeds, and other civil forms and documents.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school, plus one year of legal secretarial experience or three years of secretarial experience.
Preference is given to those with working knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
