41 per hour The opportunity Working as an integral part of our Student Services team, you will be the first line of contact for our guests and students.
What you'll do:
Operate a multi-line telephone system, route calls and schedule appointments Greet campus visitors and community members, determine the nature of their business and provideinformation to Student Services staff for follow-up Assist students with general Program information Display a high level of effort and commitment to represent the College in a professional manner at all times; demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior Schedule appointments for Advising and Testing Maintain a shared work space in an orderly and productive manner Receive student payments and process bookstore transactions Open/Close the cash register What we're looking for:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Business Technology Certificate preferred Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Google Calendar One year experience working in customer service Retail sales experience Outstanding customer service skills and professional demeanor Ability to operate a multi-line phone system Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to FERPA guidelines Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a diverse student population, administration, faculty, staff and the community Ability to work with individuals of all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds including those with disabilities Ability to function responsibly, honestly, and independently utilizing good judgment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
