Store Manager- Tooele & Stansbury Park
Assists District Manager with sales, training, marketing activity, and profitability of selected retail store within an assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Responsible to sell products offered by Ensignal and Verizon.
Maintains proper appearance of the location including appropriate merchandising and a clean and professional product sales area.
Presents his or herself in a professional manner at all times including proper attire.
Responsible to read and reply to e-mail, fax, and phone inquiries in an appropriate time frame.
Reviews current ads and promotions for market relevance.
Researches and reports to the DM the nature of the competition in the market.
Plans in advance for special marketing events by ordering the necessary promotional items and inventory.
Maintains a community presence by attending local civic events and Chamber of Commerce functions.
Communicates promotions and marketing information to Sales Associates.
Assists Sales Associates with daily problems either in person, by telephone and/or e-mail.
Maintains appropriate inventory items at appropriate levels.
Insures adequate staff is available to meet business needs and schedules accordingly.
Provides training to Sales Associates in the following areas:
o Customer Service Standards
o Product knowledge
o Sales Techniques
o Computerized point of sale system usage
o Ongoing customer relations
o Communications and reporting required with both the Old Town Office and Provo Sales Office.
Bachelor degree or 2 years equivalent experience. Extensive sales or marketing background. Extensive computer skills including but not limited to Windows, MS Office applications, Network internet access, and E-mail clients.
Professional sales skills in both retail store and sales call settings. Multi-tasking and diplomatic problem solving is a must. A proficiency in written and verbal skills (including presentations) is required
