Controller
Job Description:
Manage Peterson Holdings Accounting Operations and current staff. Position reports to CFO.
Assist in issuing timely and complete financial statements
Ensure integrity and compliance of accounting system, procedures, records and controls; strong ability to help develop and document the same will be essential.
o Timely and accurately process invoices, collections, purchase orders, and AP
o Comply with multiple states sales/use tax reporting and filing requirements
o Ensure accurate job costing and build activity-based-costing methodologies
o Support company projects and departments with financial analysis
Coordinate with company auditors as well as bank or tax auditors
Complete bank reconciliations and inter-company bookings
Work with 3rd-party payroll processor and corporate purchase card system to automate information feeds and reporting.

CPA Desired but not required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Expert level with Excel
Must have QuickBooks experience, and can handle multiple sets of books
3-5 years experience
Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial systems and processes
Exceptional communication skills, project management and organization skills
