Daimler Trucks North America - Where great people do great things! Basic Qualifications - Inspect and repair 2 cycle water pumps, oil pumps, engine parts, gears and shafts. Inspect, machine, wash S-60 Oil Pump bodies Repair turbo Bearing Housings. Inspect & gauge AAC carriers. Wash all products Update turbo housings Fill out receival tickets & Transfer sheets Determine course of action with failures Maintain quality requirements and efficiencies 5S audit and daily checklist Rotate and cross train for self training and help train others as needed Continuous improvement/Process Improvement (give suggestions) Use daily discomfort log and report sickness/injury (no matter how slight) Attend daily and weekly huddles and give input Prior mill and lathe work a plus Established competencies in gauging Ability to collaborate as a team member and work independently Ability to set up and operate mill, lathe, and grinder High level of attention to detail absolutely critical Great interpersonal and communication skills Able to perform repetitive and lift 20-35 lbs. repetitively Able to manipulate greater than 50 lbs occasionally Able to stand for long periods Must be able to perform job duties according to all safety and quality polices and procedures Additional Information - Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
