Oversees and supervises manufacturing of Roof Trusses and Wall panel activities in order to ensure smooth flow of work and achievement of productivity goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the planning and execution of production and materials handling at a location; ensures that adjacent processes are smoothly and continuously running, materials waste is minimized and delivery schedules are consistently met.
Ensures that process and quality controls are consistently observed and that outgoing products meet or exceed specific component standards.
Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and ensures that employees observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage; schedules periodic safety meetings and solicits recommended changes to improve safety procedure.
COMPETENCIES
Ability to execute plans/projects through others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS
(2) years production and/or supervisory experience; or equivalent combination and experience.
