Job Description
As a Salesman, you will assist the customers through the buying process. This position will entail answering phone, and email leads as well as attending to customers here in the showroom. You will sell automobiles by understanding and demonstrating the product that will best suit the customer s needs. Fridays and Saturdays will be required.
Responsibilities
Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries.
Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile. Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
