This listing is for an exceptionally nice, Brooks Brothers suit that is brand new with the original tags. The suit is the SaxXon Edition which means it is made of the rare SaxXon wool. It is the 1818 Madison style which is a more relaxed fit. The color is a medium gray but the fabric seems to show a little blue tinge in the sunlight. The fabric also has a muted block pattern formed by shading differences in the threads. It is single breasted, 2 button with notched lapels and no sleeve buttons. It has one vent in the coat. No buttons on the coat but comes with loose buttons. The pants are waist 36, no pleats and the length is unfinished. The jacket is 42 Long. This suit retails for $1298.00 as shown on the tag. Based on the Brooks Brothers website and not my own knowledge, the 1818 Madison is fully canvased. The following is from the Brooks Brothers website. This iconic 1818 suit is crafted in the USA from the world's finest fabrics, woven in Italy. Elements of fine construction can be found in each suit, from hand tailoring in the arm openings for comfort, to the traditional Italian-made internal canvas that creates the perfect lapel roll and a customized fit. Two-button suit, made from Saxxon(TM) wool, woven in Italy exclusively for Brooks Brothers. The original Madison fit is favored for its relaxed fit, natural shoulders and easy-fitting trousers. Deep, hand-sewn upper armholes. Center vent. Pleat-front trousers. Dry clean. Made in the USA from fine Italian fabric. As a symbol of our dedication to American manufacturing, your Madison Fit suit arrives with an American Flag pin fastened in the lapel.
